Chromatik is a game designed to help children aged 4 to 9 develop visual-spatial and counting skills. The player must win skill cards by quickly identifying the most represented colour on colour cards. This fun and progressive game offers three levels of difficulty, allowing the child to progress at their own pace while having fun.
The goal of the game is to analyze the colours on the cards and quickly determine the dominant colour. The child thus learns to use their visual comparison and estimation skills, while discovering different counting strategies. By developing a "mental image" of the surface area occupied by each colour, the child becomes more adept at understanding the spatial organization of the cards.
This development of visuospatial and counting skills prepares the child for learning mathematics, including understanding numbers, geometry, measurement and fractions.
